Healthy hearty breakfast to start the year off right! Been playing at home with a few ideas for some of our awesome brunch menus, this is one of my best successes yet.   OATMEAL FLAX WAFFLES DRY: ½ a cup cornmeal or masa ¼ cup almond flour ¼ cup chia seeds ¼ cup rolled oats pinch of salt ½ tablespoon baking powder WET: 1 cup almond milk ¼ cup egg white 2 tablespoons vanilla protein powder 1 tablespoon maple syrup 1/2 tablespoon coconut oil ½ tablespoon flax seed oil MAKE IT: Heat up your waffle iron Mix all dry in a bowl Mix all wet in a bowl Combine wet into dry Transfer into..... This year has been huge for the Las Vegas culinary scene thanks in part to major happenings on the Strip. While the action on the Boulevard is great, I couldn’t be more thrilled to see how the suburbs are booming, from Downtown and Henderson to the Southwest and Chinatown, and of course, Summerlin and the west side.
